Holistic development includes physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, moral, and cognitive development associated with healthy living. Sneh Social Welfare Foundation conducts various activities, and events meant for the overall holistic improvement of the society who are underprivileged.

The role of social welfare is to represent prospective patterns of collective choice as to alternative social states for achieving the optimal distribution of income. We bridge the gap by joint efforts with a team of like-minded professionals and volunteers.

Our NGO organized a heartfelt pulao distribution drive, prepared and served with the support of children with special needs. This initiative was aimed at reaching out to the underprivileged and spreading warmth through a simple yet meaningful act of kindness. The activity not only provided nutritious food to those in need but also offered our children an opportunity to participate in a community service initiative, boosting their confidence and sense of social responsibility.

Their active involvement in this compassionate effort truly reflected the values of inclusion, empathy, and shared humanity that we strive to promote.

On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, halwa was specially prepared, and the students of Holy Heart Special School played an active role in packing it into individual boxes with great care and enthusiasm. Our special needs children showed remarkable dedication and teamwork during this activity.

Some of the students also went out to distribute the packed halwa to the needy, spreading joy and kindness. This thoughtful gesture not only fostered a sense of community service but also filled the day with warmth and compassion.

On Republic Day, the students of Holy Heart Special School participated in the flag hoisting ceremony with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The event began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the singing of the national anthem, creating an atmosphere filled with pride and unity.

The celebration served as an opportunity to instill values of national integrity and respect among the students while showcasing their active participation in honoring the nation.

On 6th January, the students of Holy Heart Special School celebrated Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti with great respect. They visited the Guru Dwaras, where they bowed their heads in prayer and received blessings. This special visit helped the children learn about the teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, such as courage, justice, and spirituality.

The experience was meaningful and taught them important values like kindness, unity, and helping others, which will guide them in their everyday lives.

On New Year’s Day, the students of Holy Heart Special School participated in a heartfelt and meaningful activity by organizing a Bhandara. The children took pride in preparing and serving the meals, showcasing their sense of responsibility and compassion. Each student contributed by helping to separate and arrange the food with great care and dedication.

The Bhandara was a reflection of the values of sharing and kindness that the school fosters in its students. It brought immense joy to everyone involved and set a perfect tone for the new year—a year filled with generosity, community spirit, and a commitment to making a positive difference.

Our students had the opportunity to celebrate Christmas in a delightful and joyous manner at a special event hosted by a generous organization. The celebration included vibrant dance performances, a fun movie screening, and a lively visit from Santa Claus, who brought chocolates for everyone. The children, along with the staff, participated in creative activities such as art, coloring, and craft-making, followed by a heartwarming cake-cutting ceremony. The event concluded with thoughtful gifts for the children, making it a memorable and cherished experience for all.

Our teachers had the privilege of participating in workshop initiated by a renowned organization from Japan under the MEJ Project. Organized by Digireha, Inc., this workshop aimed at empowering educators and therapists working with children with special needs.

It provided valuable training on advanced therapeutic techniques and innovative evaluation methods. The initiative highlighted Japan's commitment to global collaboration in the field of special education. Our teachers greatly benefited from the sessions, gaining knowledge and skills to better support the holistic development of our students.

On Ram Navami, teachers from Holy Heart Special School took the initiative to visit a nearby community, where they distributed halwa to the residents. This thoughtful gesture was met with great appreciation, as the community members expressed their gratitude by showering the teachers with blessings.

The visit was a heartwarming reminder of the importance of service and connection, as it fostered goodwill and strengthened the relationship between the school and the local community.

Through this act of kindness, the teachers not only spread joy during the festive occasion but also exemplified the values of compassion and inclusivity that Holy Heart Special School strives to instill in its students.

We took the initiative to organize a Bhandara during the Ram Navami celebration, where students enthusiastically participated by distributing halwa to everyone present. The event was not only a religious observance but also an opportunity for the students to engage in community service, reinforcing values of compassion and responsibility.

Under the guidance of their teachers, the children experienced firsthand the joy of giving and the importance of contributing to society. Their involvement in serving others helped build their confidence and fostered a deep sense of inclusion and teamwork.

The Bhandara was a heartwarming success, leaving a positive impact on both the students and the community.
