Holistic development includes physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, moral, and cognitive development associated with healthy living. Sneh Social Welfare Foundation conducts various activities, and events meant for the overall holistic improvement of the society who are underprivileged.

The role of social welfare is to represent prospective patterns of collective choice as to alternative social states for achieving the optimal distribution of income. We bridge the gap by joint efforts with a team of like-minded professionals and volunteers.

A team of DLSA from Tess Hazari came to Holy Heart Special School Dwarka Mor under the program of “Legal Awareness Program cum interaction session on the occasion of World Disability Day for special children.”

Team interacted with students and distributed plant sapling to them. Students also felt very good and get overwhelmed by their visit. Such programs are very necessary for their socialization.

Free Dental Checkup organized by Indian Dental Association at Holy Heart Special School, Dwarka Mor.

The objective of this checkup camp was to examine the oral hygiene of the school children and diagnose the dental problems faced by them. The camp gave the opportunity to assess the oral health awareness among the students and learn about the oral hygiene practices which are of great importance in day to day life.

The students & their parents were briefed with various Do’s and Don’ts. Smile, it let’s your teeth breathe, be true to your teeth and they won’t be false to you.

On 17th February 2018, a CBR (Community Based Rehabilitation) was conducted by our organization. The aim of this CBR was to help people with disabilities, by establishing community-based programs for social integration, equalization of opportunities, and rehabilitation programs for the disabled. 

This CBR program included the people with people with disabilities themselves, their families and communities, as well as appropriate professionals.

This CBR lead to start the wave of awareness and rehabilitation in those areas of South-West Delhi where people lost all hopes for their children with disabilities.

To contribute in the knowledge of the people an educational workshop was conducted by SRSRC at Indian Social Institute. The workshop was conducted for Special Educators, Schools, Parents, College Students and Therapists.

The aim to organise the workshop was to enhance the knowledge of professionals. Topics like learning disability, inclusive education,need for curriculum adaptation, and rights of children with special needs were discussed during the workshop through confabulation.

A large number of professional and parents participated in this workshop. It was a great effort by SRSRC to contribute in the field of knowledge by this. SRSRC believes in this contribution and will always contribute like this.

Does our brain always co-ordinates with our body? Can we easily concentrate among this lifestyle? To fling away these issues an Awareness Workshop was conducted by SRSRC  to tell the Importance of Brain Co-ordination Training.

The workshop was conducted for Special Educators, Schools, Parents, College Students and Therapists. The aim to organise the workshop was to provide the training to improve concentration, activation of brain neurons through music therapy and to improve productivity. This was an initiative by us so that people get aware about the brain co-ordination and importance of that.

A gathering of 200 professionals became the beneficiary of this.

A major problem for all those parents who are lacking in the disability awareness faces a problem of behaviour management and modification. To boot this problem a workshop cum problem discussion session was organised by Special Life Centre.

Aiming the problems and issues of parents and professionals, behaviour management and modification views and ideas were shared at workshop as well as tips and training was transmitted by professionals and expertise so that behaviour modification does not remain an issue for them.

On 19th September 2016, Free Dental Checkup camp was organized for the students of Holy Heart Special School. Medicines were also distributed to needful. Health talk was also delivered to make parents aware about oral health and its importance.
