Holistic development includes physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, moral, and cognitive development associated with healthy living. Sneh Social Welfare Foundation conducts various activities, and events meant for the overall holistic improvement of the society who are underprivileged.

The role of social welfare is to represent prospective patterns of collective choice as to alternative social states for achieving the optimal distribution of income. We bridge the gap by joint efforts with a team of like-minded professionals and volunteers.

An awareness session on Good Touch and Bad Touch was organized for the students of Holy Heart Special School. A visiting advocate conducted the session, explaining the concept in a simple and age-appropriate manner to help children understand personal safety and boundaries. Through interactive discussions and examples, the students learned how to identify safe and unsafe touch and the importance of immediately informing a trusted adult in case they ever feel uncomfortable.

The session aimed to empower students with knowledge and confidence to protect themselves. It also encouraged open communication between children and teachers, creating a safe and supportive environment within the school. The initiative was a valuable step toward ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of every student, reinforcing the school’s commitment to holistic child safety education.

On the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, the students of Holy Heart Special School took part in a noble act of kindness by packing halwa prasad for distribution among people in need. The prasad was prepared beforehand, and the children joyfully participated in the packing process, ensuring each portion was neatly and lovingly packed. Their enthusiasm and dedication reflected their respect for the spirit of Seva — the selfless service emphasized by Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

This activity provided the students with an opportunity to learn the values of compassion, sharing, and community service. As they helped distribute the prasad, their faces lit up with happiness, experiencing the true joy of giving. The event served as a beautiful lesson in empathy and humanity, inspiring the children to carry forward the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in their everyday lives.

As part of the school’s ongoing commitment to student health and well-being, a routine full-body checkup was organized for all hostel students. This comprehensive medical examination, conducted by a professional healthcare team, covered all essential health parameters to ensure that each child remains physically fit and healthy. The initiative aimed at early detection of any potential health issues and provided valuable guidance for maintaining overall wellness among the students.

The health checkup is a regular biannual practice at the hostel, conducted every six months to continuously monitor the health status of all residents. This proactive approach not only helps in maintaining a safe and hygienic living environment but also reassures parents that their children are being cared for with the utmost attention. Through such consistent health monitoring, the school reinforces its dedication to providing holistic care and a nurturing atmosphere for all hostel students.
