Holistic development includes physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, moral, and cognitive development associated with healthy living. Sneh Social Welfare Foundation conducts various activities, and events meant for the overall holistic improvement of the society who are underprivileged.

The role of social welfare is to represent prospective patterns of collective choice as to alternative social states for achieving the optimal distribution of income. We bridge the gap by joint efforts with a team of like-minded professionals and volunteers.

“Parent Empowerment Programme” on “National Legislations, Scheme and Benefits for Persons with Disabilities” organised by Holy Heart Special School and Amity Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences.

Fusion Pvt. Ltd. organized VOLUNTEER PROGRAM for special needs children at Holy Heart Special School.

They organized Art Competition and lunch for children & school staff. Our Students did a lot of activities like drawing, Dance & Music and Ramp Show. The day was full of fun & enjoyable.

Sports help children to develop mental and physical toughness. Sport shapes their body and make it strong and active. Children should actively participate in sports to avoid being tired and lethargy.

So Holy Heart Special School and Empowering Humanity a leading social welfare Organisation who dedically work for welfare of society are came together and conduct a sports event to create awareness in society regarding special needs children .

The team of Feeding India & Zomato visited Holy Heart Special School to spend time with our children on “Autism Awareness Month” on 20th April 2019.

They did a lot of activities like art & craft, dance and music. And had lunch together. The day was full of fun and entertainment for our students. They gave and received tons of love.

This was very nice step towards create awareness in the society for children with special needs. A special thanks to Zomato & Feeding India Team.

On 15th April 2019, Special Rehabilitation Sciences & Research Centre organized the Health Checkup camp for the students of Holy Heart Special School, Dwarka Mor.

Students from our school (both branch) participated in MEGHA SPORTS EVENT which was organized by Special Sports Academy at St’s Mary School, Dwarka. They have participated in various game like 50 mtr run, 25 mtr assisted walk, Shotput, Softball Throw, Tennis Ball Throw and Skating.

Our students got different medals and certificates of participation.

“We should motivate the students to show their talent they have. Because everyone has a hidden talent in him or her. We just need to pull it out from that child.”

There is a great psychology behind these line. Being as an educators sometimes we also can’t figure out how to deal with students in class. For all such doubts Special Rehabilitation Sciences & Research Centre  organised an educational workshops at Holy Heart Special School Dwarka Mor for educators and interns.

Educators came up with their queries which was cleared by our guest of the event Ms Monica Dinesh Arya who also belong to special need children field. She provided very genuine and possible way to tackle the problems inside the class. Such workshop are very much beneficial for in terms of polishing the personality of the educator as learning is always be a part of ones life.

A team of DLSA from Tess Hazari came to Holy Heart Special School Dwarka Mor under the program of “Legal Awareness Program cum interaction session on the occasion of World Disability Day for special children.”

Team interacted with students and distributed plant sapling to them. Students also felt very good and get overwhelmed by their visit. Such programs are very necessary for their socialization.

Free Dental Checkup organized by Indian Dental Association at Holy Heart Special School, Dwarka Mor.

The objective of this checkup camp was to examine the oral hygiene of the school children and diagnose the dental problems faced by them. The camp gave the opportunity to assess the oral health awareness among the students and learn about the oral hygiene practices which are of great importance in day to day life.

The students & their parents were briefed with various Do’s and Don’ts. Smile, it let’s your teeth breathe, be true to your teeth and they won’t be false to you.
